Speech & Language Pathology (SLP)
A unique approach to addressing your speech and language difficulties.
In addition to traditional therapy, an integrative approach is used to consider all the factors that could be contributing to an individual’s challenges.
For example, examining hydration and its impact on cognitive communication skills, exploring family dynamics and their role in a child’s presentation, and considering certain lifestyle choices and how they influence cognitive performance.
We consider your communication needs in the context of every facet of your life.
We explore the physical, emotional, social and psychological factors that may be influencing your communication skills. We take all these into account to best provide a truly comprehensive service. We look to increase the capacity in a person’s system as we believe that the more vital and balanced a person is, the better they will do in any therapy, including our speech and language offerings.
Our approach emphasizes functional communication and working on skills that will make a direct impact on the person’s day-to-day life.
We aim to partner with our clients and empower them to take charge of their success with their communication goals. Our work with children primarily centers around caregiver education and coaching. We aim to empower the parent or caregiver with the knowledge and tools to support their child.
